As a photographer, every project brings a unique set of challenges and creative opportunities. My recent shoot at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Aberdeen Airport was one of those assignments that blended both beautifully. Tasked with capturing the hotel’s key spaces, I had the privilege of exploring and photographing every corner, from elegant bedrooms to the vibrant restaurant, and even the serene snug. I started with all bedroom types, focusing on clean compositions and natural lighting to highlight comfort and design. The lounge and snug areas offered a cozy contrast, ideal for relaxed downtime, while the gym shots emphasised functionality and space. The reception area was all about capturing that important first impression sleek, modern, and inviting. A standout feature was the hotel’s large conference centre. I used wide angles and detail shots to reflect its flexibility for both corporate and private events. This shoot was about more than just interiors, it was about telling the story of the guest experience. The Crowne Plaza team made it seamless, and I’m proud to have captured the hotel’s unique blend of comfort, style, and professionalism.
